Amazon Kindle Review

If all you ever wanted from your tablet is a dedicated ebook reader, the Amazon Kindle is the one you are looking for. You might say that the Amazon Kindle is a pioneer in the ebook industry as it offers people a high tech way to carry and read books anywhere you are.

One thing the Amazon Kindle is good at is that this ebook reader is perfect for reading as it weights in at 6 ounces, which is much lighter than a traditional paperback novel. Another thing to notice about the unit is that it can be fitted in your pocket so that you can read anywhere, anytime you are. And just like a piece of paper, you can even hold it using one hand. The Kindle is a simple yet extremely elegant and functional e-book reader. Nothing more and nothing less. It doesn’t have all the more advanced services available in smartphones and tablets: stuff like Bluetooth, 3G, camera, web browsing; except for a built in Wi-Fi function that allows you to download ebooks directly to the device.

Downloading ebooks are fast like in just a minute you will be able to start reading on a new literary creation in digital ink. Kindle can hold over 1 000 ebooks. Since this device is connected to Amazon, you have access to over a million book selection including over 180 000 exclusive titles not found anywhere in the ebook market today. The product comes in two colors - black or gray. Either one is okay as the grey is more of the traditional look of the brand and the black color is more of the matte kind and feels like part of today’s ebook market where the majority of the ebook devices are in black. The look of the Amazon Kindle is nothing to be dazzled by as, just like its features, it is simple and straight to the point. It doesn’t have a lot of external options as its biggest asset is the screen. This ebook reader is not that ugly looking but it feels like it is out of place when compared to other ebook devices that are a lot more shiny, curvy and smooth.

This e-reader is big enough to read and understand due to its six inch screen. It also features a darker font that is hand tuned to make it easier for you to read. It can also be read outdoors as just like an actual book or paper, you can read with no glare blocking your eyes when reading even when in the brightness of the sun. The screen of the unit is responsive and intuitive as when using it to flip the pages; it feels like the real thing. Swiping is easy and that the buttons in the device are properly placed and are comfortable to use using your finger. The Amazon Kindle is a simple, no frills ebook reader that functions just what it is described. It is light to carry around and is easy on the eyes when using it to read.
